Top LEED Building in Toronto Uses Enwave's Service

Enwave Toronto customer One York Street achieved LEED Platinum certification, earning 89 points, the highest-ever score awarded to a Toronto building as of November 2017. The 800,000-sq-ft commercial office tower focuses on environmental responsibility.



In addition to using Deep Lake Water Cooling from Enwave Toronto, One York is designed with premium efficiency HVAC equipment, building automation controls and a high-performance curtainwall system that reduces energy consumption by 46 percent. The building has an underfloor air distribution system that helps ensure fresh air delivery throughout the space.


The 35-story building was completed in 2016 and is home to Sun Life Financial Inc., the Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan, CIBC Mellon, Sovereign General Insurance and Tulip Retail. Developed by Menkes Developments Ltd., the tower is located at York and Harbour in Toronto’s South Core Business District.
