Enwave systems across North America are making their mark. Enwave New Orleans is featured in “From recovery to resilience” in the first quarter 2019 issue of District Energy magazine, published by the International District Energy Association. The article also covers Tulane University’s district energy system.

Enwave’s system in New Orleans has been in operation for nearly 20 years and serves mission-critical hospitals and health care facilities plus buildings in the central business district. It has 31 cooling customers and 22 steam customers.

As noted in the article, The Roosevelt, A Waldorf Astoria Hotel, turned to Enwave New Orleans when undergoing renovation post-Hurricane Katrina. Not yet an Enwave customer, it wanted to put a five-star spa where the existing cooling equipment was located. Enwave extended chilled-water service to the hotel, freeing up space for the spa and eliminating rooftop cooling towers to make room for a pool. A number of Chicago Loop buildings are turning to Enwave for the very same reason!

Enwave Energy Corp. is a platinum sponsor of IDEA’s 2019 Campus Energy Conference to be held in New Orleans February 26 to March 1, 2019. Conference attendees will tour the Enwave New Orleans system.

Enwave Chicago is pleased to be a part of an organization that’s committed to the industry’s growth and vitality. Enwave is moving energy forward!
